Travel Café | Vera Illugadóttir in the Middle East

Vera Illugadóttir talks about her travels in Arab speaking countries for the past few years.  Including her travels with her grandmother, Jóhanna Kristjónsdóttir, author and journalist.

Jóhanna ran an informal travel agency in the beginning of the century and specialized in introducing Icelanders to less travelled countries in the Middle-East, countries like Syria and Yemen which have since become warzones.

Everyone is welcome but the event will take place in Icelandic.
