Exhibition | Korpúlfar spring exhibition 2025

The exhibition is a group exhibition of Korpúlfar which is the name of an organization for senior citizens in Grafarvogur.

Within the organization, an art group has been active for 12 years, initially at Korpúlfsstadir but now at the community center Borgir in Spönginn, Grafarvogur. This is the second exhibition of Korpúlfar at the library.
The group's instructor is painter Pétur Halldórsson. The group consists of about 15 members who meet on Tuesday mornings to enjoy good times together.
Each person paints what they are inspired by, and the members find themes here and there, either in personal images or in photo albums. The materials are of their own choices, some paint on canvas, others on paper—but the goal is to have fun and create together.

The exhibition will be opened at the Borgarbókasafnið Spönginni on Saturday, May 24th at 2:00 PM.
