BORGARBÓKASAFNIÐ

The 8 years old Helena Dís Daðadóttir is the fifth winner in the summer reading challenge "Gúndi the Billy Goat and the Great Grass Hunt," a collaboration between the Reykjavik City Library, the Center for Education and School Services, and public libraries.
Helena Dís is a real book reader who thinks the Salka Sól books are the most fun and highly recommends them to her friends.
But where does prefer to read and at what time of the day?
"On the couch in the living room before I go to sleep."
In addition to reading, Helena Dís enjoys playing outside in the summer. But what other plans does she have for this summer?
"Go camping."
There probably won't be a couch in the tent to lie on and read, but then it's perfect to crawl into the sleeping bag and read by flashlight, or find a soft grassy spot to lie down with a good book.
The staff at the Reykjavik City Library warmly congratulates Helena Dís and hope she reads many good books this summer.
The summer reading challenge runs until August 20th, so there's still plenty of time to take part!
