Chat with an accent for the 100th time!
When we started our monthly Icelandic practice events in 2020, we couldn't imagine them growing so fast into the weekly full packed events they are today! They went from monthly to weekly, from an average of 6 participants in 2020 to over 30 in 2024, from one teacher to two: everything grew so fast! We are thankful for the amazing teachers and assistants who have partnered with us and who help us carry this project forward: Hildur, Siggi, Ingunn, Lísa, Isidora, Margret, Þóra and Hrefna.
Want to give it a try? Join us for our next free Icelandic practice meet-up and get to know other people who are learning too! Those weekly meet-ups are for anyone who wants to practice their Icelandic speaking skills in a friendly and relaxed environment with experienced teachers. Our program is divided into 4 different activities aimed at people with different interests and learning preferences. Have a look at our program and see what suits you best!
All meet-ups happen in the Reykjavik City Library Grófin (downtown) and all levels are welcome to join us! It's always free and you don‘t need to register, just show up!
