BORGARBÓKASAFNIÐ

A little rain did nothing to dampen the spirits of Reykjavík residents on Culture Night, as they turned out in large numbers to enjoy a wide variety of events well into the evening.
This year's theme at Reykjavík City Library was The Animals of Grófin Forest, and the “forest” was buzzing with excitement throughout the day. Families enjoyed an animal-themed scavenger hunt, a children's quiz, a desert island bouncy castle, jazz performances, children's yoga, salsa dancing, singalongs, stand-up comedy, and much more. Nearly 2,500 visitors made their way to the “forest” to join the festivities, setting a new attendance record for the library's Culture Night programme.
The staff of Reykjavík City Library would like to thank all our adventurous visitors for coming and for the wonderful response to this year's programme.
It was a pleasure to spend the day with you!
