Puzzle Meetups
Want to join in?
Everyone is warmly welcome to weekly puzzle meetups hosted by the Icelandic Puzzle Association. We meet every Thursday evening from 7–8 PM at the Úlfarsárdalur City Library, all year round except in July.
Jigsaw puzzling is a wonderful pastime and great mental exercise, and the puzzle community in Iceland is growing rapidly. The Icelandic Puzzle Association was founded in early 2025 to bring people together—creating opportunities to meet, puzzle, swap puzzles, and even take part in speed puzzling competitions.
Feel free to bring a puzzle from home and enjoy a cozy time with a friendly group. Beginners can borrow puzzles on site. You’re also welcome to bring puzzles for children if they’re coming along.
It’s also a great chance to trade puzzles with others in the group.
There’s always a warm, relaxed atmosphere at the library, with coffee and tea available for those who’d like some.
And why not take a dip in Dalslaug swimming pool before or after—it's in the same building as the library.

Tilvalið er að taka með sér púsl að heiman á púslhittingana og eiga notalega stund í skemmtilegum hópi. Byrjendur geta fengið púsl að láni á staðnum. Það er jafnframt velkomið að taka með sér púsl fyrir börnin, séu þau með í för.
Þarna gefst tilvalið tækifæri fyrir áhugasöm til að skiptast á púslum við önnur í hópnum.
Notaleg stemning ríkir á safninu og kaffi og te í boði fyrir þau sem vilja.
Og svo er um að gera að skella sér í sund í Dalslaug fyrir eða eftir púslhittingana, en laugin er í sama húsnæði og bókasafnið.
