The Neurodiverse Writers' Space

The Neurodiverse Writers' Space is a monthly gathering, in-person and online, where neurodivergent writers can come together in a friendly, low-stimulation space and write and be exactly who they are. We meet every month, usually the second Saturday, in a small cosy corner of the Reykjavik City Library Grófin (downtown).
There are separate spaces for those who would like to converse and those who want to write in silence: communication is completely optional.
We share work, drafts, and ideas for how to showcase neurodivergent creatives and make the world better for us. Stimming and anything else that is part of who you are is welcome here. This space is for neurodivergent writers who want a place to write in peace without having to mask.
All meetups are announced on the Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2177293863091182
This online group is used to discuss our neurodivergent writing experiences, how to make the writing space better, ideas for events, other online spaces, possible collaborations, etc. This group and all our meeting places are safe spaces where members can expect to be able to exist free from any form of oppression, and everyone is welcome to suggest further ground rules which would make the spaces safer for them.
Feel free to spread the word to other ND writers, and to join in the conversation in whatever way works for you
