BORGARBÓKASAFNIÐ

You are invited to the opening of the Nest on the 7th of August at 4pm.
‘Að tilheyra er þegar þú þarft ekki alltaf að horfa yfir öxlina á þér.’
The Nest is a cosy corner of Reykjavik City Library that hosts a collection of texts and media curated by users of the library. For Pride, visitors of The Nest will be able to listen to 9 audio stories where queer people share books, songs, poetry, films and theatre works that give them a sense of belonging. In a world where people are increasingly divided, the Nest is a space to listen to people with different life experiences.
The installation will be open until the end of September on the second floor of Grófin. The stories will stay available on the library website beyond that. You are invited to a soft launch of the exhibition on the 7th of August, from 4pm to 6pm.
