Learn how to transform and enhance clothing in creative ways with Eva Ísleifs. In the workshop, participants will gain insight into sustainable fashion design and learn how to transform and enhance clothing in creative ways. They will then create their own garment using sewing machines and paint. Age: 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 Time: The workshop takes place over two days, July 2–3, from 13:00–15:00 Registration opens on the 28th of April on Abler. Link is under MIÐASALA Basic knowledge of sewing is an advantage but not necessary, as the methods used are accessible and useful for future creative work and fashion design. Repüp is a design brand by artist Eva Ísleifs. The name Repüp is inspired by the term re-purpose, referring to reuse and giving items a new function. In her work, Eva emphasizes sustainability and the circular economy, where each garment is unique and created with the environment in mind.
