Embla Bachmann will lead a workshop in creative writing. From a young age, Embla has been an avid reader. She quickly became fascinated by the magical world of books and at the age of eleven she set herself the goal of writing her own stories and poems. Time: The workshop runs for three days from Monday 29th of June - Wednesday 1st of July at 13:00-15:00. Age: 2010, 2011, 2012 og 2013 The registration in on the 28th of April on Abler. Link is on MIÐASALA Embla has received various recognitions and awards for her writing. She has published three popular books: Paradísareyjan, Kærókeppnin, and Stelpur stranglega bannaðar. Embla will teach young writers how to lay the foundation for their own novel and will go through each step of the creative process. Participants are also welcome to bring stories they have already started working on and would like support in developing further. By the end of the course, all participants will have developed the basic structure of their own book along with a toolbox to continue writing. The emphasis will be on having fun and ensuring that each participant gets the opportunity to shine.
