Stofan | Open Stage - AFF BIDD DÖFF
A box of ideas is opened with thoughts about the status of deaf culture and sign language in our society. The stage is open for deaf to express themselves on all things that come to mind.
A temporary educational and entertainment space is open from 16th until 21st of April at the Reykjavík City Library, dedicated to the status of the Icelandic Sign language: AFF BIDD DÖFF. During this week ideas have been collected. The space was designed by the performance group O.N. and closes with an open stage.
The space is part of the project Stofan - A Public Living Room, where different individuals or groups temporarily transform a space into a place for meaningful interactions to Share the Care.
All welcome, no participation fee!
