Grant opportunities | Presentation from Eurodesk
Free presentation from Eurodesk in Iceland about opportunities for young people in the Erasmus+ program
Erasmus+ does not only provide grants for exchange studies at universities or for internships related to studies, there are many other opportunities! Come and learn more, who knows what opportunity suits you to go see the world Young people aged 13-30 can get an Erasmus+ grant to go to Europe to meet other young people - completely unrelated to studies. You can also apply for grants to organize events or projects within Iceland that encourage the democratic participation of young people. Erasmus+ also has a travel lottery for 18-year-olds, and the sister program European Solidarity Corps offers volunteer positions for 18-30-year-olds in Europe, which includes travel costs, food and accommodation.
Eurodesk in Iceland is a non-profit organization is an official support mechanism of the Erasmus+ program. Eurodesk in Iceland is hosted by the Icelandic Center for Research. In September and October, Eurodesk celebrates the Time to Move campaign, where young people are encouraged to take advantage of Erasmus+ opportunities. This presentation is part of that campaign.
We think it is important that young people are informed in a timely manner about the opportunities that are available to them, but these opportunities can make a difference in their learning process and future. The presentation is useful for young people who are still students but also for those who are interested in volunteer work or receiving grants to have a positive impact here at home.
