Climate Café | Holistic Environmentalism and Veggie Preserves Workshop
Climate Café welcomes you to learn about the big picture of environmentalism and participate in a food preserves workshop.
Anna María Björnsdóttir, project manager at Lífrænt Ísland, documentary filmmaker and organic farming activist will give a talk on the importance of a holistic attitude and approach towards environmental action at the personal and communal levels.
Vegetables are sourced in collaboration with regenerative and ecological farm Reykjalundur and growers at the Seljagarður gardens.
The Climate Café aims to foster community and increase resilience. We do this to resist despair, inaction, eco-anxiety, and other difficult emotions. At Climate Café events people learn from one another, share experiences and feelings, and partake in mutual aid and care.
All welcome, no participation fee. We will offer refreshments and snacks.
