Everyone is welcome to The Reykjavík City Library Grófin to celebrate the Library's 100th Anniversary!
We have an exciting program for all ages, including a literary walk, music, crafts, guided tours and last but not least coffee, juice and of course birthday cupcakes.
Ongoing 11:00 - 17:00:
Crafts for all ages (2nd floor)
A selfie station - pick some props and hit the button (1st floor)
A poetry corner - write your own poem or add a verse to an exisiting one (2nd floor)
100 years of photos and memories. Photos and albums (5th floor)

Literary walk with Kristín Svava
Kristín Svava will tell us about the mysterious Plague house on Þingholtsstræti and stop by at some secret places in the neighbourhood. Who knows, maybe we will run into someone who has already passed away...

We will take guests around the library, show the offices and staff areas including the famous lunch room on the sixth floor.
