Lunchtime Melodies | Þór Breiðfjörð sings Gling-Gló

Gling-Gló is one of Björk’s best known records where she sings some popular Icelandic tunes with a jazz twist.

In this Lunchtime Melodies concert, Þór Breiðfjörð will sing songs from the album along with Ingi Bjarni Skúlason pianist, Magnús Trygvason Eliassen drummer and Leifur Gunnarsson double bassist.

Þór Breiðfjörð is highly acclaimed Icelandi singer, best known for his performance in the spirit of Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole.  

He graduated from The Arts Educational Schools in the UK, and enjoyed a long and successful career in Musical Theatre in London’s West End before moving back to his native country, but his singing is characterized by his warmth, passion, and sincerity.
