Concert | Hong Tee | World Class Guitar Performance

Malaysia’s premier classical guitarist, Hong Tee, honors us with a very special performance in Grófin City Library.

She has performed extensively throughout Malaysia as a solo artist and chamber musician. She has also performed in Wales, England, Singapore, Taiwan, and, most recently in Spain and London. Tee is the first Malaysian classical guitarist to be invited to conduct masterclasses and adjudicate competitions at one of the world’s top 5 guitar festivals, the World Guitar Art Festival in Belgrade, Serbia.

Hong Tee has greatly enhanced her expertise through participation in master classes conducted by some of the most distinguished teachers and virtuosos, such as Roland Dyens, Pavel Steidl, Marco Tamayo, David Russell, Ana Vidovic, Philip Hii, Edoardo Catemario etc. She currently teaches at UCSI University’s Institute of Music and Sunway Conservatoire of Music. Tee was also a teacher at the Malaysian Institute of Art from 2014-2020.
