Book reading on Icelandic language day
On the Icelandic language day four authors will read from their new books in Icelandic: Eva Rún Snorradóttir, Eva Björg Ægisdóttir, Hallgrímur Helgason, and Nanna Rögnvaldardóttir.
Eva Rún Snorradóttir has published poetry and short stories and her first novel, Eldri konur is now out. Eva Björg Ægisdóttir‘s crime novels have been a smash hit and her newest one is Kvöldið sem hún hvarf. Hallgrímur Helgason has won the Icelandic Literary Prize multiple times, including twice for the prequels to his latest novel Sextíu kíló af sunnudögum. Nanna Rögnvaldardóttir has written numerous recipe books but her second historical novel is Þegar sannleikurinn sefur.
Everyone is welcome but the readings will be in Icelandic.
