BINGO!
At Tengivirkið today we'll play Bingo and learn some new Icelandic words on the way.
The Bingo manager will be Daði Guðjónsson who has tought Icelandic as a second language for many years and delvoped the SMILE - Bingo, a fun and an easy way to learn the language.
Price for the lucky ones!
The Bingo can be played on regular cards or on a computer/telephone for those who want.
After the Bingo, guests are welcome to stay to play and learn some more Icelandic through devices and programs provided.
It's free, it's fun and it's for everybody aged 16 - 25, also beginners in Icelandic!
At Tengivirkið - Young People Connect, people aged 16 - 25, whose native language is not Icelandic, meet others with diverse backgrounds and experience, in a good and relaxing environment. They learn some Icelandic through diverse ways with an experienced teacher and receive some presentations from interesting organisations and parties.
Tengivirkið is a part of the library's development as an open space where users are sought to be involved in programming and make the space their own.
Free of charge - no obligation
All the Tengivirki's events start at 4pm and last for about 90minutes.
