Welcome to the Neighbourhood in collaboration with the City Library are holding two events to assist parents of foreign origin in the neighborhood with registering for summer workshops. We will introduce workshops, both some you need to pay for and the ones that are for free - so you will be ready when the registration opens. Registration for the Workshops organised by the City of Reykjavík will open on April 29th, other workshops open at various times for the next upcoming weeks.
The event will be in Icelandic and English...do you neeed an interpreter?? Please let us know!
No sign up, just show up - participation free of charge.
EVENT 1 - Introduction
We will introduce to you information about summer activities – with summer frístund (6-9 year olds) and courses for 10-12 year olds, free workshops at the Library, and other paid courses in the area such as the Scouts and many kinds of sports.
EVENT 2 - Assistance at the big registration day
Both events will be at the first floor at the Reykjavík City Library Grófin (down).
