Concert Workshop | Girls Rock!

Stelpur rokka! / Læti! is a concert making course. Registration for a 10-part concert workshop for 15-20 year olds where participants will learn all about preparing and produce a concert. Participants will attent concerts, book bands, create and distribute promotional material and participate in the setup and tech aspect of the concert themselves. 

Participants will meet on Tuesdays between 16:00 and 18:00  in Reykjavik City Library in Gerðuberg, under the guidance of Ólöf Rún Benediktsdóttir, sound technician and project manager at Læti!. The first class will be on the October 1. 

Through the concert course, the association aims to continue providing new and diverse courses focused on the technical aspects of music. The concert workshop is funded by the Barnamenningarsjóður and is therefore available to participants free of charge.
