Common Ground (Samvera) - nature walk

Samvera (Common Ground) is a weekly event that brings together Icelandic learners and Icelandic speakers.

Together, we will get to know each other over coffee, chat about Icelandic nature and society, and practice the language in a safe and friendly environment while enjoying being outdoors.

We will explore walking paths around Gerðuberg. Everyone who has an interest in nature and wants to get to know new people, regardless of language, is welcome.

• When: Saturdays, from the 18th of April to the 30th of May, then from the 5th to 26th of September, from 11:30 to 13:30
• Where: The group meets first at the library in Gerðuberg (Breiðholt) to have coffee and chat, then we will go for a light walk in the surrounding area, including in Ellidáardalur.
• Note: When the weather is bad, we will stay in the library and play board games.

The walk will be led by teacher of Icelandic as a second language, Margrét Olsen.
