Information about the event
Exhibition | Source
The artist Jóna Berg Andrésdóttir shows her artwork in Spöngin, a branch of the Reykjavík City Library, oil paintings and watercolor paintings. Her motives are sought in the land and nature that she knows well after having lived in The Westman Islands and having travelled around Iceland, but the source is also from the animal kingdom and daily life, not least from her nearest and dearest.
Jóna has been painting since childhood and has studied in various art institutions throughout the years. These days she studies art and painting with artist Pétur Halldórsson.
Welcome to the opening, Saturday, November 30th, from 2 pm - 4 pm.
The exhibition is open during the opening hours of the library, Mon-Thu 10-18, Fri 11-18 and Sat 11-16.
