Þorgerður Hlöðversdóttir exhibits textile art  from silk, wool and linen.

Þorgerður Hlöðversdóttir is a textile artist who seeks inspiration from the nature. She dyes and prints on natural materials such as silk, wool and linen using Icelandic herbs and plants . Each piece is unique and capturing - it can take the artist many attempts to achieve the desired colors and textures.

Þorgerður graduated from the Textile Department of the Icelandic School of Fine Arts and Crafts in 1990. She studied at the University of British Columbia in Canada from 1998-1999 and completed a master's degree as art teacher from the Iceland Academy of the Arts in 2013.

Þorgerður has participated in numerous exhibitions both in Iceland and Canada.
