Summer Workshop | How to Write a Horror Story
Are you aged 9-12, like horror and want to write your own horror story? Author Gunnar Theodór Eggertsson helps the participants find the freedom to hear their own ideas, allow them to be born and create something horrific from them. Workshop is for children born in 2015, 2014 and 2013.

Gunnar Theodór has been fond of horror and adventure ever since he can remember, and thinks there is nothing better than mixing it into exciting stories for children and teenagers (and sometimes adults too). The first story that Gunnar published was a horror story about the Icelandic Santa Clauses, and his first children's books, Steindýrin and Steinskrípin, were fairy tales with a horrible twist about animals and children that turn into stones and horrible monsters that feed on the stone statues. His trilogy about Drauga-Dísa also has a strong flavor of the horror, and everyone who has met the ghastly elves in the adventure series about Surdufjallid will not forget them so happily!
The workshop is in Icelandic.
