Fabrication | Easter Crafts | Upcycling old books
Easter is fast approaching, so it is ideal to prepare some Easter decorations.
All libraries have to write off books, which means that the books have to be given a new role. These books are usually recycled, but we wanted to use the material for something beautiful and fun.
We are going to use the paper to make beautiful Easter bunnies and Easter eggs that you can hang up and admire. We will also have yarn to make little tassels for the tails on the bunnies.
This time registration for the Fabrication is necessary, see down below.
Everyone is welcome, but children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Fabrication is a series of events that take place on the first Thursday each month at the Reykjavík City Library in Úlfarsárdalur from 3.30 pm - 5:30 pm.
Let's have a cosy time, be creative and make something beautiful. The facilitators will bring ideas how we can reuse and reinvent with different materials. They will bring all the materials and tools you need for the fabrications.
