BORGARBÓKASAFNIÐ

In this storytime session, the book is not projected onto a screen, instead it is read directly to a small group of children. The aim is to create a calm and relaxed atmosphere where children have the opportunity to explore the book itself in depth. The group sits in a circle while a children's librarian reads from books in which illustrations play an important role.
The session also includes a brief discussion about the importance of taking good care of books.
Small groups are recommended for this storytime, ideally 10 children or fewer. Larger groups can also be accommodated by dividing the children into smaller groups and reading to one group at a time while the others play in the children's section.
