BORGARBÓKASAFNIÐ

All about the make-a-thek project.
A creative garment repair workshop led by Katrín Káradóttir and Ragna S. Bjarnadóttir, both instructors in the Fashion Design program at the Iceland University of the Arts.
There will be various examples and educational materials on garment repair available on site to help spark ideas. Participants are encouraged to bring garments that need repairing or altering, as well as their own tools and a variety of materials. Some tools will also be provided on site, including sewing machines, threads, yarn, and textile materials.
This event is a part of a project called make-a-thek which is funded by the EU.
