The Reykjavík City Library recently received a donation of books from the american author Kris Bryant. Rúnar Logi Ingólfsson, Project Manager of the Library Collection at Reykjavík City Library, accepted the donation on behalf of the library. On the occasion, Kris Bryant gave a reading from her works at the Reykjavík City Library in Grófin and spoke about the writing and publishing process behind her books.
Kris Bryant’s novels belong to a literary genre known as sapphic fiction, romantic stories that focus on love and relationships between women. The donation includes works by Kris Bryant, who also writes under the pen name Brit Ryder, as well as two books by fellow sapphic author Krystina Rivers. The books have now been added to the library’s collection and are available for loan at the Reykjavík City Library in Grófin. They can also be reserved and collected from other branches of the Reykjavík City Library.
