Inclusive aspects of artistic processes

Two international projects, URB_ART and Be Part! joined forces with the library on Saturday 21st ofJanuary to share experiences and knowledge on the inclusive aspects of different artistic processes. Participants shared examples of good practice in an active peer to peer learning session. We talked about projects in which the artistic creative process has been a successful tool for establishing a sense of togetherness, belonging and equality within different parts of society.

We used a Long Table discussion format to share knowledge on equal grounds. Conceived by Lois Weaver, the Long Table is an experimental open public forum that is a hybrid performance-installation-roundtable-discussion-dinner-party designed to facilitate dialogue through the gathering together of people with common interests.
