Specialist at the City Library Kringlunni | Open position
The City Library Kringlan advertises a 100% position for a university-educated employee. We are looking for an employee who has initiative, great communication skills and has adopted an independent way of working to work on a variety of projects and services at the library, as well as supervising children's events and the children's department of the City Library in Kringlan.
This is a temporary job from September 1st, 2024.
In addition to the above, the job requires ambition, organizational skills and flexibility.
Main tasks:
- Supervision of library's presentations, storytimes, events and educational programs for children and teenagers
- Supervising the development of the children's and youth department's in accordance with the library's policy
- Communication with professionals, non-profit organizations, schools, kindergartens, etc.
- Presentation of library's collection
- Information and helping service for users
