Academic Café is a popular event series held at Spöngin City Library. Researchers, authors, and specialists share their knowledge in the welcoming atmosphere of the library. The topics are diverse, ensuring that everyone can find something of interest each time.
Academic Café takes place one Monday each month, from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM, from autumn through spring.
Admission is always free, and everyone is welcome.

Arna Ýrr Sigurðardóttir, parish priest, will discuss dreams.
19 October
Saga Úlfarsdóttir, AI specialist, will discuss artificial intelligence.
16 November
Valur Gunnarsson, author and historian, will discuss Greenland.
18 January
Eiríkur Rögnvaldsson, professor, will discuss Icelandic grammar.
15 February
Illugi Jökulsson, broadcaster and author, will discuss the rise of Nazism around the time of the Second World War.
