Crimes in Sólheimar
Wednesday May 6th 2026
Katrín Jakobsdóttir will tell us about the entrepreneurs of Icelandic crime fiction, from the Icelandic Sherlock Holmes, published in 1910, to modern crime novelists. She will go over the history of crime fiction in Iceland and place it within international context.
The event will be held at The Reykjavik City Library Sólheimar on Wednesday the 6th of May at 18:00-19:30. The talk will be given in Icelandic but everyone is welcome.
