A Laufey Library Card for all the "Lauvers"
We all know the musician Laufey Lín, who has charmed the world with her gentle charisma and unique voice.
To celebrate the concept A Very Laufey Day, the Reykjavík City Library in collaboration with the singer, has released a limited-edition Laufey Library Card. The library card will be available from August 24, 2025.
The Laufey Library Card costs the same as a standard library card
- Annual fee is 3,200 ISK
- Valid at all of the Reykjavík City Libraries and other public libraries in the city
- Library Cards are free for those who are 18 and younger

The Laufey Foundation, Book Club and Very Laufey Day
Laufey has used her success to shine a light on important causes, such as The Laufey Foundation, which supports young musicians taking their first steps and helps create opportunities for them to flourish.
On Instagram, she runs The Laufey Book Club, a vibrant reading community where she shares her favorite books and encourages conversation around literature and the joy of reading.
Each year, Laufey hosts A Very Laufey Day, selecting notable locations around the world that are connected to music, literature, or personal milestones.
