In this workshop we’ll practice tuning into the realities of people around the world, explore how empathy can bring us closer to justice and action in support of survivors of human rights violations.

The driving force behind all human rights work begins with our willingness to put ourselves in the shoes of those who suffer such violations.

Empathy inspires action and action can change lives.

Can we strengthen empathy within Icelandic society?
Or is “empathy fatigue” wearing us all down?

Participants in the Empathy Workshop will get to know survivors of human rights violations and will have the opportunity to take part in the world’s largest human rights campaign.
