Storytime by the Fire in the Fall Break | Rán Flygenring
Welcome to a cozy outdoor storytime, where we’ll light a small campfire to brighten up the dark winter days. You can warm up with some hot chocolate while Rán Flygenring reads to us from her brand new book, Blaka. The story is rather funny, a little bit creepy, and somewhat philosophical. In the darkest part of winter, Vaka, Kókos, and Dad are preparing for a vacation in the sun. They plan to visit a water park, join a sandcastle competition, and stuff themselves with ice cream. Dad is also planning to get a hair transplant. But when a small and utterly lost bat strays into the city, the family’s plans are suddenly blown away. Blaka is about everything unknown, uncomfortable, and unruly that lives in the dark.
Let’s meet outside the lower entrance of Gerðuberg and dress according to the weather.
Take a look at all our events during the fall break!
