Let's make boxes that look like books!
Come to Fabrication in Spöngin and craft book boxes with us — little storage boxes that look like books! These boxes are perfect for storing something top secret, or as a beautiful gift box.
The event is appropriate for folks of all ages, and we especially encourage adults to participate and allow themselves to be creative, regardless of "artistic talents". Children younger than 12 should be accompanied by an adult that can assist them. Tools and materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you like! The event is free and no sign-up is required.
The event takes place on the ground floor, and there is an accessible toilet a few meters away. The second floor of the library is accessible via an elevator.
Fabrication takes place at the Reykjavík City Library in Spöngin on the first Wednesday of every month, and at the Reykjavík City Library in Árbær on the second Tuesday of every month.
