Summer Workshops 13-16 year olds | Transform clothing with Ýrúrarí

Workshop for 13-16 year olds.

The workshop is free of charge but it is necessary to register down below.  Booking opens on May 3rd.

Textile designer and artist Ýr Jóhannsdóttir or Ýrúrarí leads a workshops in creative mending on clothing. In the work shop old clothing is given new life and meaning. Participants do not need any former knowledge of textile techniques or experience in mending. The techniques used in the workshop are accessible to everyone and can be used in future art making and mending.

The City Library offers variety of workshops this summer for children and teens.
