Kakó Lingua | Polish

Laugardagur 13. mars 2021

Let's learn and play through language! This event is for children of all ages who want to have fun learning new words: we'll teach each other new words and sentences in different languages in a friendly inspiring environment. This event will have Polish as a focus language but we welcome children from all language backgrounds to join us!

Wiola Ujazdowska is a Reykjkavik based artist, performer and curator. She holds an M.A in Art Theory from Nicolaus Copernicus University, Toruń, Poland where she also studied painting at the Department of Fine Arts. Her works have been shown in U.S.A, Portugal, Germany, Poland, Slovakia and Iceland to name a few. Wiola focuses her art practice on "others" in societies and processes of "othering" in western culture. She has a lot of experience in art education, especially with children and teenagers and we are very happy to have her as a host for this kakó lingua event!
