Location of event: BERG, on the upper floor
Coffee will be served.

This event is in Icelandic, but everybody is welcome.

Writers Auður Jónsdóttir and Pétur Gunnarsson have written many books of autofiction. In this event they will discuss biographies, and if the genre is coming to an end, as a traditional form, and if autofiction is taking over. Or has fiction maybe always been a part of biographical writing?

Auður and Pétur have also written novels that center on the act of writing in itself, the search for stories and the need for your own narrative. Maybe it's easier to play with facts when it comes to your own story, but our stories are inevitably entwined.

Literary scholar and publisher, Einar Kári Jóhannsson, will lead the discussion, which will be in Icelandic.
