FULLY BOOKED | English creative writing workshop

An English creative writing workshop that will focus on adopting an author’s perspective to everyday life and examine the tools and techniques necessary to structure a narrative. Fiction and non-fiction and something in between; we will focus on finding a starting point to any piece and building a solid foundation for any idea, scene, and dialogue.

The workshop is taught in English, but the core principles can be applied to any language!

Áslaug Hrefna Thorlacius was born in Princeton, New Jersey. She graduated from Menntaskólinn við Hamrahlíð in December 2017 and is currently enrolled as an English Literature major at the University of Iceland. She has been writing short stories and fan fiction for several years now.

Prior writing experience is not necessary!

The workshops consist of 5 weekly meetings at the Reykjavík City Library Spöngin

The workshop is free of charge but it is necessary to register.
