Tuesday June 22nd 2021 - Monday August 30th 2021

During the summer, Reynir Vilhjálmsson will hold his exhibition of watercolour paintings at The City Library/ Culture House in Árbær. The theme of the exhibition is the river Elliðaá, the power station, the dam and the Árbær reservoir. Reynir has been living in Árbær for 53 years, much of that time at Fagribær on the bank of the Árbær reservoir. The emptying of the reservoir is the subject of the exhibition.

Examples of Reynir´s various organizational projects that he has accomplished in his career are : The organization of the city´s quarter of Árbær, the overall organization of the valley of Elliðaá, the environment of the power station, the territory of horses, stables and horseriders at Víðivellir. All of these projects are done in cooperation with the City of Reykjavík.
