Adam Switala invites children and parents to join the “Lifemusic” Family Meeting and together discover how the instruments, like magical objects, invite us to discover our own ways of playing and interacting through music and how music connects us without words, makes us listen, laugh and share the joy of improvisation.
The essence of Lifemusic, improvisation, is an instantly accessible musical tool which brings people into the moment, into the ‘here and now’. Lifemusic is positive and life-enhancing. Sessions may be stimulating and relaxing at the same time. 

No prior musical training is required, everyone is free to choose the level of participation comfortable for them at any moment.
The activity is intended for children with active participation of parents or other accompanying adult.

Adam Switala, Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Iceland, a musician, composer and teacher, has worked with children of the age group 0-100 years old in Iceland, Finland, Norway, Estonia, Poland, Germany, UK and the USA. 

Group size limit: 10 children and their families – registration below.
Notice that the event starts before the opening of the library.

Kakó Lingua events are for children and families that want to learn about new languages through simple and fun activities in a friendly and inspiring environment.
The events take place at Reykjavík City Library Kringlan and participation is free.
Children of all ages who enjoy playing around with language are welcome to Kakó Lingua, but the youngest ones may need a helping hand from an accompanying adult.
Last, but not least, there is always kakó (hot cocoa) on offer.

Rodzinne Spotkanie Muzyczne “Lifemusic" dla dzieci w wieku 4 - 9 lat

Zapraszamy dzieci i rodziców do wzięcia udziały w niezwykłym spotkaniu, podczas którego wspólnie odkrywać będziemy świat dźwięków. Posłużą nam do tego specjalnie przywiezione z różnych stron świata małe instrumenty!

Prowadzący warsztat pełnić będzie rolę przewodnika po magicznym świecie dźwięków. Zaczarowane instrumenty pomogą zarówno dorosłym jak i dzieciom odkryć nowe sposoby grania i komunikowania się za pomocą muzyki. Żadne wcześniejsze przygotowanie muzyczne nie jest potrzebne, każdy może sam decydować o stopniu zaangażowania w muzyczną zabawę. Razem odkryjemy jak muzyka łączy nas bez użycia słów, uczy słuchać siebie i innych i dostarcza radości!

Adam Świtała, wykładowca University of Iceland, jest kompozytorem, muzykiem i nauczycielem z wieloletnim stażem. Pracował z dziećmi w wieku 0-100 lat w Polsce, Islandii, Finlandii, Norwegii, Estonii, Niemczech, Wielkiej Bryan i USA.
