Guðmundur Pétursson will play original music as well as old standards from the Great American Songbook.
In the band with Guðmundur are Leifur Gunnarsson double bass and on drums is Matthías Hemstock.
Guðmundur Pétursson has been a performer, songwriter and record producer for many years. He's made is mark on the musical landscape with his involvement in more than two hundred albums, including his own Ologies (2008), Elabórat (2011) and Sensus (2015), as well as his works for Kammersveit Reykjavíkur and The North Iceland Symphonic Orchestra. He's collaborated with artists such as Pinetop Perkins and Erlend Oye and has brought home the Icelandic Music awards on multiple occasions, for his writing, album and performance.
