Reykjavík City Library | Gerðuberg Cultural Centre
Sunday, 30 April, 1.30 -3.30 p.m.
A session for the whole family – part of the Children’s Cultural Festival.
Masks are fascinating and often mysterious. What happens when you put on a mask? What hidden personality does the mask suggest? Sometimes, the mask takes control, so that the person wearing it starts behaving according to it’s character. What mysterious creature would you like to turn into?
In the workshop, you will have an opportunity to look inwards and get in touch with your feelings of happiness, anger, sorrow or fear. We will work with materials either recycled or taken from the garden or beach, in order to connect to nature awakening from it’s long winter sleep.
The workshop will be directed by Ingibjörg Huld Halldórsdóttir
